Updated: Sep 12, 2020

I am from the city of Laredo, TX.

From the Rio Grande River, along the Mexican border, southern Texas.

From being raised in America with Mexican roots.

I am optimistic, humble, resilient, and PROUD to be a LATINA.

I am from “Al mal tiempo, Buena cara” y “Echale ganas mija”.

I am from striving for happiness y dando buena vibras para todos.

From accepting the things I cannot change and courage to change the things I can.

I am from staying sober, trusting the universe, and not giving up on myself.

I am from carnesadas and cumbias on Saturday evenings with my familia.

I am from eating enchiladas, tacitos, and tamales.

I am from drinking Cafecito and playing some reggaeton.

I am proud in receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and pursing my Master of Science in School Counseling, from Texas A&M International University.

I am a researcher, educator, and future licensed professional counselor in Texas.

My mission as a counselor is to aid clients in developing healthy life skills and empowering all clients to reach their maximum potential to address their academic, personal, emotional, and social goals.

I am expected to graduate from Texas A&M International University by the end of Summer 2020.
